I’m trying to find a web developer’s salary on salary.com but all I found was webmaster and I thought they might be the same thing. Also, what can I expect to make as a web developer with technical training only, right out of the gate?

    Master can be anyone, they answer questions add files backup, changes, a web developer creates websites from apps like dreamweaver, java, flash etc. 1 creates and 1 just maintanes the site.

    Webmaster tells the website its always good to play both parts and software to see on the website and keep track of whats happening eg web developer what they want to design and create the website and have overall control of whats happening eg web.
