Why I am saying this is to also ask for the most recent info about how much I would get paid, what I need to learn, what I should be learning right now, the languages I need, classes ect. and that sort of stuff. Most of the books that I got are from 1999ish-2006. I would like to have the most recent info so I can start right now and be able to get a heads start in collage.

And if you know anyone that is a webmaster personally or if you are a webmaster or you are a webmaster or you deal with HTML in websites or something computer related let me know and I’ll ask you, or the person questions if I can about the job, how much fun is it.
Thanks for the input I last heard it was about 30-100 thousand depending on how good you are. Is that recent status?

I have a friend that pays someone to maintain his website, including the hosting, but my friend has not been able to contact the webmaster for weeks, and the website is hosted with GoDaddy.com, what can my friend do?

Can he transfer the domain name to a new host that he will sign-up for, and start over?

What legal issues would he face with current web designer?

He has been given limited permission to access the web host for updating his address, etc., will this help with getting into GoDaddy to transfer anything?

I have been building links on my own for about 9 months now. My sites rank fairly well in the SERPs for certain terms and they do show PR2-PR4 on the Google Toolbar.

I have yet to attend any conferences and the major webmaster forums seem full or scammers and spammers, so I am reluctant to reach out there for contacts.

Until I do get around to attending industry events, what are some other ways to find willing webmasters to trade some links with?

I know this sounds bizarre, but my webmaster passed away suddenly and I need to keep my website up and running. I do not have access to his PC. I believe that he was hosting the site on his own servers (not sure). And he is listed as the registrant for my domain name, along with my company name. Ideally what I want to do is move the website to another hosting company and then have someone else administer the website. I assume I would need the software that he used to develop the site in order to do this. HELP! I’ve never encountered a problem like this before and I can’t find any help on the web.
